We're pleased to introduce two fantastic new French wine ranges for Autumn/Winter 2018. Both ranges are available to LWC customers now.
La Columbe Wine Range
La Colombe, the dove, is a being of worldwide distribution, and therefore of multicultural significance. Associated with goddesses of love and war for thousands of years, the dove is a symbol of peace and hope, having proven its value in conflict in the form of the carrier pigeon, whose intelligence and reliability have saved human lives.
La Colombe Sauvignon Blanc, 12% ABV
This wine has a bright gold colour and an inviting scent of honey melon and peach. On the palate, you experience aromas of peach, apricot and melon as well as some floral notes.
La Columbe Chardonnay, 12% ABV
Well rounded soft stone fruit with a pleasant mouth feel and long finish.
La Columbe Medium Rose, 12% ABV
This wine is of light salmon pink shimmer and has an elegant nose of raspberry and red cherries.
La Columbe Merlot, 13% ABV
A fine nose of red fruits, particularly strawberry. On the palate, there are flavours of strawberry and redcurrant, as well as hints of walnut and dark chocolate.
La Columbe Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% ABV
The nose is dominated by black fruits and spicy notes. On the palate, there are abundant flavours of elderberry, bramble, cinnamon and orange zest. Soft, round tannins provide a silky finish.
Le Jardin Wine Range

From the epitaph of artist Henri Rousseau, written by his friend Guillaume Apollinaire. Henri Rousseau's series of jungle prints was the inspiration for the bottle artwork created for the Le Jardin range.
Le Jardin Sauvignon Blanc, 12% ABV
A crisp, fragrant wine with appetising flavours of green apples and citrus on the finish.
Le Jardin Chardonnay, 12% ABV
Supreme Chardonnay with lovely ripe, buttery fruit flavours and aromas of tropical fruit and flowers.
Le Jardin Medium Rose, 12% ABV
Fresh, red fruit flavours. Easy drinking rose perfect as an aperitif or light dishes.
Le Jardin Merlot, 13% ABV
A mouthful of red berry fruits, soft and juicy.
Le Jardin Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% ABV
Rich Cabernet aromas, firm and vigorous on the palate with a long finish on the palate
