LWC has been named Sommelier Wine Awards Value Wine Merchant of the Year 2026, marking a third consecutive year at the top.

Judges also recognised the depth and diversity of the range, pointing to a genuinely global selection spanning both Old and New World styles, alongside more esoteric finds from countries such as Hungary and Romania.

A standout example was the gold medal-winning Balauri Feteasca Regala, singled out for demonstrating the kind of quality and character that can still be found at accessible price points.
